Understanding Behavioral Analytics in Cybersecurity
Disruptive events rarely occur without precursors. They are often preceded by shifts in behavior, sudden emotional changes, or health symptoms that are initially dismissed. In hindsight, these signals form patterns that were present all along. While the signals are not always missed, they are often noticed but dismissed as insignificant until it is too late.
In cybersecurity, the main challenge isn’t technology but people—adaptive, intentional, and patient. Human behavior often follows patterns that can be detected and understood. The question is why these signals are still being missed.
