The NIS2 Directive: Raising Cyber Resilience Across Europe

EU legislators have recently reached a provisional agreement on the revised Network and Information Security Directive (NIS2). This is a much-needed update of Europe’s flagship cybersecurity legislation that will tighten cybersecurity requirements to companies and governments and apply them to more key industries. 

In this first episode, special guest Bart Groothuis, the NIS2 Rapporteur for the European Parliament will explain the need for the NIS2, its contents and potential impact on different sectors. Additionally, the changes that this directive will bring and how Member States will help organisations comply with the obligations presented in NIS2 will be discussed.
