Whitepaper Cybersecurity and Digital Sovereignty - Bridging the gaps

This study explores how to bridge the digital sovereignty gap in cybersecurity, in the Netherlands, domestically, in the EU and beyond. The study is based on an extensive set of interviews, literature reviews and the expertise of the authors.

The recommended actions in this study focus on the necessary cybersecurity knowledge that needs to be possessed and the extent of solutions that the Netherlands and the EU should be able to produce, potentially in collaboration with trusted third countries. One of the key recommendations is that cybersecurity and digital sovereignty should be a top political priority in the Netherlands and the EU.
