Arguably one of the world's most networked nations, the Netherlands is frequently referred to as the digital gateway to Europe. The yearly DHL Global Connectedness Index has always shown the nation at the top. An estimated 6% or more of the Dutch GDP is attributed to the internet economy, which is predicted to grow even more in the years to come. There is broadband internet access in almost every home.
