Cybersecurity onderzoek Alert Online 2025

The Netherlands participates through Alert Online, with the official kick-off on 29 September at Stedin in Rotterdam. As a key player in our vital infrastructure, Stedin faces digital threats every day – its commitment to cybersecurity is both crucial and inspiring.

The annual Alert Online Research 2025, conducted by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, was also presented. Key insights:

• Nearly 50% of Dutch citizens are hardly concerned about digital safety, while 3 in 4 faced cybercrime attempts.
• 1 in 5 small SMEs still take no measures at all.
• New this year: Generative AI in the workplace – 36% are familiar with tools like ChatGPT, but only 26% say their organisation has clear guidelines.
