Workshop: How to Pitch

Is your company looking for finance opportunities? And do you want to enhance your chances of securing a fund? On 15 December, Security Delta (HSD) and TIIN Capital will organise the short online Workshop: How to Pitch. Experts from both sides of the table will give tips and tricks during this short, interactive event and the opportunity to test out your elevator pitch.

With several large funding opportunities coming up, including the SecurIT Open Call in January 2022 and private investment rounds, it is important for your company to make sure you are ready to strike!

Performing a good pitch is the key factor in successfully obtaining a funding opportunity, and growing your start-up. It is the way to make your idea or story clear in a short and powerful manner, and convince finance providers. This might sound easy, but it often is not. A pitch can be done in countless different ways, but they are not equally effective. Therefore, it is important to know what works during a pitch, and what does not. During this workshop, we give you the tips and tools you need to perform a good pitch, and enhance your chances.

15:30 – 15:40: Welcome and introduction by TIIN Capital about why a good pitch is so important.

15:40 – 15:50: Pitching expert Arthur Tolsma (CODEAN) gives tips and tricks on how to perform a good pitch

15:50 – 16:00: Possibility to ask questions and to test your skills by doing an elevator pitch in front of experts
