The Increasing Ransomware Problem: Protecting Your ICS

Ransomware threats for ICS (Industrial Control Systems) are growing. In June 2021, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) released a fact sheet highlighting the ransomware threats in 2021 in relation to operational technology (OT) assets and ICS. ‘Given the importance of critical infrastructure to national security and America’s way of life, accessible OT assets are an attractive target for malicious cyber actors,’ says CISA.
