FidelSec Supports Innovation and Cybersecurity Talent at The Hague University of Applied Sciences
FidelSec recently participated as an industry partner in the Innovative Development specialisation within the HBO-ICT programme at the The Hague University of Applied Sciences. Through this collaboration, the company provided real-world assignments to students, helping them validate innovative ideas while strengthening the connection between education and industry.
As part of the programme, two student groups presented their final projects during the programme’s Expo. The projects were supervised by FidelSec professionals, who guided the students throughout the development process and supported them in translating concepts into practical cybersecurity solutions.
One of the student teams developed a digital forensic toolkit designed to securely collect, preserve and analyse data for incident response investigations. The project demonstrated how emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, can accelerate development processes and enhance the usability and presentation of cybersecurity tools.
FidelSec views initiatives such as internships, student projects and educational partnerships as an important way of contributing to society and supporting the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. By sharing expertise and providing practical learning opportunities, the company aims to help strengthen the cybersecurity ecosystem in both the Netherlands and Europe.
Alongside its commitment to education, FidelSec continues to focus on helping organisations improve their cyber resilience and preparedness in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
