Ubiqu and Thales EUDI Wallet Security

Ubiqu and Thales are collaborating to simplify the rollout of certified infrastructure for European Digital Identity (EUDI) wallets under eIDAS 2.0. The joint solution combines Ubiqu’s Remote Secure Element with Thales Luna HSMs.

eIDAS 2.0 requires identity data and cryptographic keys to be stored under strict security rules, often tied to specific hardware such as smart cards or secure elements in modern devices. This collaboration meets those requirements at the infrastructure level, without depending on end-user devices.

By integrating the Remote Secure Element with certified Thales HSMs, the solution supports eIDAS High–compliant and post-quantum-ready deployments, helping organizations reduce complexity and move faster to production.
