Unisys Executives Discuss MeriTalk Study and AMPS Solution

Unisys issued an announcement regarding its new Application Modernization Platform as a Service (AMPSSM) offering, a subscription-based service to help federal government agencies reduce the cost, complexity, risk, and time involved in modernising their legacy software applications.

A recent study by MeriTalk and the Unisys Center for Innovation in Government found that four out of five C-level federal IT executives said mission-critical government capabilities are at risk if agencies do not modernise legacy applications.

The study, “Federal Application Modernization Road Trip: Express Lane or Detour Ahead?,” looked at the progress of the federal government in modernising its business applications and the cost and risk of maintaining outdated and redundant systems.

A panel of Unisys executives convened to record a podcast that dives into the MeriTalk study findings and shares some actionable insights that will help federal IT leaders optimise their modernisation efforts and their budgets using AMPS.
